Updates to Hummingbird cleaning Services Terms and Payments

We've updated our Terms of Use, to add details about our cancellation policy, introduce gift cards as a payment method, describe additional service tiers we may offer, and reflect changes in applicable laws. These new Terms will go into effect 10 days from today, on January 16, 2025.

BY USING HUMMINGBIRD CLEANING SERVICES, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, which describes our practices in detail and is incorporated herein by reference. Please read them carefully.

1. Service fees are subject to change without notice to accommodate the increase in cost for supplies, add on cleaning request, Credit card platforms etc.

2. Late fees will automatically be added to all unpaid invoices after 3rd day of non-payment.

3. All invoices will now be required to be paid by the last cleaning or in some cases at by the end of the month.

4. Late fees will now drop from $50 to $25 dollars flat, after 3 days of non payment, Max late fees are 2 before cleaning are canceled and may be sent to collection.

5. We will now be offering 20% for clients that choose to pay in advance

6. We will be changing pricing on 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, please check pricing sheets located on the important information tab on the home page.

7. Cancellation policy, clients will be charged $35 for same day cancellations.

8. Rescheduling fee of $15 will now apply when clients reschedule

9. Service Tiers and Add-Ons. When finalizing your cleaning contracts thur hummingbird cleaning Service, you may be presented with different plans or add-on options (each a “Service Tier”), and these Service Tiers may be subject to differences in pricing, usage rules, eligibility, restrictions, features. We reserve the right to change the terms of your subscription, including the price, from time to time.

10. We will give you advance notice of any price change prior to the next billing date, but we will not be able to notify you of any changes in applicable taxes or fees. If you do not wish to accept a price change, you may cancel your cleanings in accordance with the instructions provided in the cancellation policy. If you do not timely cancel your cleaning, you will be charged automatically at the new price in effect at the time of the renewal.

11. Payment Method. To use the Hummingbird cleaning Service, you must provide us with one or more payment methods. Our payment processors will keep your detailed payment information confidential, such as credit card number and expiration date, on file. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided (including any updates to that payment method), and you authorize us to charge the applicable service fee (plus applicable taxes and fees) to that payment method. You acknowledge that we may process an authorization hold using your payment information in order to verify the information provided and that we may retry your payment method following a failed charge attempt. You are responsible for keeping your payment details up-to-date in your account settings. If your payment method details change or are due to expire, then you agree that we may obtain or receive from your payment provider updated payment details including your card number, expiration date, and CVV (or equivalent), and you authorize us to charge your payment method using the updated information. If you do not pay any fees when due (for example, due to credit card expiration or insufficient funds), we may suspend or terminate your access to the Hummingbird cleaning Services.

12. Introducing Free Trials and additional Promotions. From time to time, hummingbird may offer promotions to the clients on a limited, free-trial basis (“Free Trials”), and the availability and length of any such Free Trial may be limited in duration (the “Trial Period”).
