💡 Understanding Service Fees & Charges


At Hummingbird Cleaning Services, we’re committed to providing transparent, fair, and high-quality service. Here’s a quick breakdown to help you better understand how our service fees and charges work:


🧼 Why Service Fees Are Applied


Our service fee helps cover essential costs that support your cleaning experience, including:

  • Professional-grade cleaning supplies

  • Labor and staffing (including multiple cleaners if needed)

  • Fuel and travel

  • Insurance and bonding

  • Secure online payment platforms

  • Ongoing training and operations management

Service fees allow us to maintain the high standards you expect while making your experience as smooth and reliable as possible.


📊 How Service Fees Are Calculated


Service fees are carefully adjusted to reflect your specific needs. They typically range:

  • Commercial properties: 20%–29%

  • Residential homes/units: 10%–25%

The exact fee may vary depending on:

  • Size and condition of the space

  • Number of cleaners required

  • Travel distance

  • Type of supplies needed

  • Payment method and processing fees

Each fee is tailored to ensure fair pricing and consistency, while allowing us to deliver the luxurious, reliable clean you deserve.



⏳ Late Payment Policy


We completely understand that things come up! If payment isn't received or communication hasn’t been made within 72 hours of your cleaning, a $50 late fee will be added. An additional $50 will be applied for every 72 hours that follows without payment or contact. We’re always happy to work with you just reach out if you need flexibility.



🔐 Entry Policy


Your peace of mind is our priority.

  • We will always discuss your preferred method of entry during your initial walkthrough.

  • Any codes (garage, door, lockbox, etc.) are securely stored and accessible only to the Owner and Manager.

  • We will not use your entry method without confirmation.

You’ll receive a reminder text the night before or the morning of your appointment, and we kindly ask for a confirmation reply. This ensures we have your permission to access your home.



🚪 Missed Entry Policy


If we arrive for your scheduled cleaning and cannot access your home/unit and we were not informed in advance a 50% fee of the cleaning price will be charged.

We deeply value your time and trust, and we’re here to make this process easy, respectful, and convenient for you.
